Your Moon Sign Explains Everything You Have Been Judging Yourself For
Épisodes
Last week we walked through all twelve sun signs. Your sun is who you are becoming. This week we go to the placement that decides whether you ever get there. Your moon sign is what you need. Not what you want, not what you have decided you should be fine without. What you actually need to feel emotionally full. And there is no logic in it. You cannot talk yourself in or out of your moon sign any more than you can talk yourself out of a feeling. You can only understand it, accept it, and start giving it to yourself. Here is the part that changes how you see yourself. You cannot evolve into your sun sign if your emotional needs are going unmet. The sun and the moon work together in the sky, and they work together in you. So the thing you have been quietly judging yourself for, the need you keep apologizing for, the reaction that seems to come out of nowhere, is very often an unmet moon sign need running underneath your whole life. The moon moves fast. It spends about two and a half days in a sign, so two people born days apart can share a sun sign and need completely different things. You cannot guess this one from a birthday. Pull your chart before you listen. Then I walk you through all twelve moon signs: what you are like at home when nobody is watching, what you need in relationships, what it looks like when that need goes unmet, and the one practice that meets it. Listen for yours. Then listen for your partner’s. Topics Covered: Why your moon sign is what you need, and why there is no logic to negotiate with The sun and the moon working together, and why an unmet need blocks your evolution Why the moon spends only two and a half days in a sign, and why you cannot guess it from a birthday What the moon itself teaches us: reflected light, a gravitational pull that moves the tides, and phases Why your emotions are reflective, powerful, and far more predictable than they feel Your moon sign as who you are when no one is watching, at home, sick, or vulnerable Why so many of us hide our moon sign early in life, and what that costs Why moon sign compatibility can predict a relationship better than sun sign compatibility alone You cannot negotiate with your needs, and what an unmet need becomes when you try The undercurrent: emotional reactions out of nowhere, unexplained moods, self sabotage, over controlling Learning to express a need instead of waiting to be read When your sun and your moon want completely different lives, and how to give each one what it needs Aries moon: movement, courage, directness, and a container for anger Taurus moon: comfort, consistency, physical touch, and routines that steady you Gemini moon: exchange, communication, and getting the spiral out of your head and onto paper Cancer moon: the nest, self care, and the harder work of receiving Leo moon: appreciation, creation, and asking out loud to be told you are loved Virgo moon: usefulness, acts of service, and doing one thing imperfectly on purpose Libra moon: harmony, beauty, quick repair, and writing down your non negotiables Scorpio moon: depth, trust, shadow work, and sharing the wisdom instead of keeping it Sagittarius moon: freedom, new experience, companions instead of containers Capricorn moon: structure, respect, competence, and learning to ask for help Aquarius moon: connection, shapeshifting, and getting out of the head and into the body Pisces moon: compassion, intuition, and the practice of knowing what is yours How to honor your moon sign every day, and the three questions to close with Timestamps: [00:03] Welcome, and what your moon sign actually is [02:54] The moon itself: reflected light, the tides, and the phases [05:14] The rawest part of who you are, and who you are when no one is watching [07:43] Why your moon sign belongs in every compatibility conversation [09:00] You cannot negotiate with your needs [10:39] When your sun and your moon want different lives [12:14] Aries moon [14:28] Taurus moon [16:27] Gemini moon [18:22] Cancer moon [21:22] Leo moon [24:01] Virgo moon [26:22] Libra moon [29:06] Scorpio moon [32:16] Sagittarius moon [34:51] Capricorn moon [37:06] Aquarius moon [39:52] Pisces moon [42:14] How to honor your moon sign from here Journaling Prompts: What do I need emotionally that I have never said out loud to anyone? Where am I waiting to be read instead of expressing the need directly? What does my moon sign look like at home, when nobody is watching? What does it look like in me when that need goes unmet, and who usually sees it first? My sun wants one life and my moon wants another. What does each one need this week? How can I meet one of my own needs today without asking anyone for it? Once a year we do something strange. We take the things that scare us most, ghosts and skeletons and darkness and death, and instead of hiding from them, we put them on. We walk around in the dark wearing them and we knock on doors and laugh. That is not an accident. It is one of the oldest instincts we have. At the darkest turn of the year, you face the thing you fear, you give it a shape, and you take its power back. This year Halloween lands in the middle of Scorpio season, with Mercury retrograde in Scorpio and a waning Moon. The sky is doing the exact same thing the holiday does. It is asking you to look at what you hide. Because the veil is not only thin between worlds. There is a veil inside you too, the line between what you let yourself see and what you pushed out of view. The feelings you decided were too much. The desires you decided were not appropriate. You did not destroy those parts. You put them behind the veil. And Scorpio season is when that veil gets thin. Here is what almost nobody tells you about the shadow. Your shadow holds whatever you could not afford to be, and very often what you could not afford to be was powerful. If anger was dangerous in your home, you buried your anger, and with it your ability to say no. If ambition made you seem selfish, you buried your drive. If sensitivity made you a target, you buried your intuition. The part you hid to stay safe is so often the exact part you need to create the life you want. I walk you through what the veil actually is, where Samhain comes from, what your shadow is really holding, what happens when you suppress a feeling versus name one, the sky this week, what you inherited that was never yours to carry, and the releasing ritual I have been promising you for weeks. Release the fear. Keep the power. Topics Covered: Why we dress up as the thing that scares us, and why that instinct is ancient Samhain, the end of the harvest, and the start of the dark half of the year The veil inside you, and the line between what you let yourself see and what you pushed out of view Why Scorpio season is when that veil gets thin What you inherited: the beliefs and habits handed to you before you could choose them Honoring your ancestors, and giving back what was never yours The three part releasing ritual: honor, name, release The page you keep, and why you write the power down before you let the fear go Journaling Prompts: What feeling have I been hiding, and what is its exact name? What quality did I hide to stay safe, and what power was it protecting? Who annoys me most right now, and what quality in them was I told I was not allowed to be? What am I carrying that was handed to me before I could choose it? What is the cost of holding this down, and where do I feel it in my body? If I released the fear and kept the power this weekend, what would I do differently on Monday? Timestamps: [00:02] Welcome, and what Samhain is [00:31] Scorpio season, the waning Moon, and the release window [01:08] Why we dress up as the thing that scares us [02:48] Where Halloween came from: Samhain and the cross quarter day [04:19] The veil between the worlds, and connecting with your ancestors [06:28] Gratitude for what you inherited, and what you no longer want to carry [07:19] Retrograde season as a time to review what was handed to you [08:14] The veil inside you, between your conscious and subconscious mind [09:21] The survival patterns you picked up as a kid, and the ghosts running your life [10:40] The releasing ritual: your altar in the west [11:33] The three things you write down [13:39] Burning what you release [14:10] The power you keep [15:15] Watching your dreams, memories, and signs this weekend [15:58] Scorpio season, the New Moon in Scorpio, and taking your power back Resources: Get the Scorpio Season Workbook for the New Moon in Scorpio practice on November 8 Get your Free Natal Chart to find where Scorpio and your eighth house fall Listen to The Only Sun Sign Episode You Need Listen to The Two Most Powerful Days of This Retrograde: Venus and Mercury Cazimi Follow Spirit Daughter on Instagram Visit the Spirit Daughter Website Get my book Spirit Daughter Book a Natal Chart Reading Try the Moment App for free See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
There is a sentence I hear more than almost any other. Someone tells me their sign, and then immediately says, but I do not really feel like one. You are not broken and your chart is not wrong. You are simply early. Your Sun sign is not a description of who you already are. It is a description of who you came here to become. It is not a personality quiz result. It is an assignment, and nobody arrives on this planet already knowing how to do it. Your Sun sign is the curriculum. It is not the diploma. This is the first episode in a new series where I take one placement at a time and go all the way in. Today we start at the center. I walk you through what a Sun sign actually is, why it holds more weight than any other point in your chart, and the three things it is not. Then I give you all twelve signs, one at a time, with the high expression of that energy, the low expression of the same energy, the lesson you are here to learn, and one move that takes you from one side to the other. Here is the part I want you to hold onto. The low side of your sign is not evil. It is not a flaw in you. It is your energy running without your attention on it, the unrefined version of the exact same power. You cannot kill it, because it is the same fuel. You can only see it, name it while it is happening, and stop letting it drive. Pull up your chart at chart.spiritdaughter.com before you listen, and find out what you were actually handed. Topics Covered: Why so many people say they do not feel like their sign, and why that is the design and not a mistake Your Sun sign is the curriculum, not the diploma Three things your Sun sign is not: your whole chart, a prediction, or a personality box Why everything else in your chart orbits the Sun Fatigue that does not go away with rest is often not a sleep problem, it is a purpose problem Every energy has a high side and a low side, and they are the same raw material The three stages with your Sun sign, and why stage two is where the work happens All twelve Sun signs: the high side, the low side, and the lesson each one came here to learn Timestamps: [00:02] Welcome, and the start of a new placement series [01:07] When you do not feel like your Sun sign [02:45] What your Sun sign is, and why the cusp matters [04:45] What your Sun sign is not [06:52] The center of you, and where your energy comes from [09:11] You choose your Sun sign over and over again [10:57] Every energy has a high side and a low side [13:47] The three stages of working with the low side [15:13] How to listen to the twelve signs [16:10] Aries Sun [18:41] Taurus Sun [21:21] Gemini Sun [24:09] Cancer Sun [27:04] Leo Sun [29:42] Virgo Sun [32:46] Libra Sun [35:45] Scorpio Sun [38:19] Sagittarius Sun [40:45] Capricorn Sun [43:08] Aquarius Sun [45:47] Pisces Sun [48:14] Up next: Moon signs Resources: Get your Free Natal Chart to find your Sun sign for certain, and your Moon before next week Get the Scorpio Season Workbook for the New Moon in Scorpio on November 8 Listen to Rising Signs Explained: The Sign That Runs Your Whole Chart Follow Spirit Daughter on Instagram Visit the Spirit Daughter Website Get my book Spirit Daughter Book a Natal Chart Reading Try the Moment App for free See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
Tonight, Venus disappears. For most of this year it has been hanging in the western sky after sunset, that bright light you see before any star comes out. The evening star. Tonight, around nine o’clock Pacific, it slips into the exact heart of the Sun and vanishes from view. When it comes back in a few weeks, it will not be in the evening sky anymore. It will rise in the east before dawn. Same planet, completely new role. That is a cazimi, and this season hands us two of them back to back. Venus tonight, at the very first degree of Scorpio, on the same day the Sun enters Scorpio. Mercury on November 4, at twelve degrees, right around sunrise. People spend a whole retrograde bracing for something to go wrong. Nobody tells them that there is a rebirth built into the middle of it. A cazimi is the moment a planet sits in the center of the Sun and walks back out renewed, and because Venus and Mercury are retrograde while it happens, they are at the closest point to Earth they will reach in their entire cycle. Closest to us. Closest to you. It is the bottom of the descent, and everything after it is the rise. So if this Venus retrograde has felt heavy, if old feelings and old questions about your worth have been surfacing since October 3, hear this. Tonight is the bottom. From here, it rises. I am walking you through what a cazimi is, why a retrograde cazimi is different, what Venus is asking you to let go of tonight, what Mercury hands back on November 4, why your own brain works on this same rhythm, and the two rituals to do with them. Topics Covered: What a cazimi is, and why the heart of the Sun purifies instead of burns Combust versus cazimi, and the throne room image behind the word Why Venus and Mercury are the only two planets that can do this from our side of the Sun Why a retrograde cazimi puts a planet at its closest point to Earth in the whole cycle The bottom of the descent, and why everything after it is the rise The oldest Venus story there is: it descends, it disappears, it returns Why Scorpio is the sign that knows the way down and the way back What Venus actually rules: love, money, pleasure, beauty, and what you let yourself receive Venus bargains, and the one to name and release tonight Why the first degree of a sign is a seed, not a continuation Why this is not the night for a new relationship, and what to plant instead Venus moving back into Libra on October 25, and the Full Moon in Taurus the same night Mercury cazimi on November 4 at twelve degrees of Scorpio, and the clean slate for your inner voice The sentences to gather between now and then: I always, I never, people like me Two rituals, one for tonight and one for November 4 The free one: go outside before sunrise in the second week of November and look east Resources: Get the Scorpio Season Workbook for the Full Moon in Taurus on October 25 and the New Moon in Scorpio on November 8 Get your Free Natal Chart to find where Scorpio falls in your chart Listen to Mercury Retrograde Is Not Coming for You. Mercury stations retrograde on October 24 at 21 degrees of Scorpio, and for twenty days the planet that governs communication, information, and the way you think walks backward through the sign of what is buried. You already know the warnings. Back up your computer. Do not sign anything. Expect the typo, the traffic, the meeting that moves twice. I want to give you something far more useful, because Mercury retrograde is not coming for your life. It is coming for your story. Mercury rules the voice, and the most constant conversation in your life is not the one with your boss or your partner or your group chat. It is the one you have with yourself. It is the voice that narrates your day, explains your setbacks, decides what you are capable of, and quietly sets the ceiling on everything you are trying to manifest. For twenty days it is turned inward, in the one sign that will not let you skim. This whole retrograde happens in Scorpio. No sign change, no second chapter. It goes down into one room and stays there, which is why this one goes deep instead of wide. I am walking you through exactly what is happening in the sky and every date to write down, where this retrograde got the worst reputation in astrology and what is actually true, everything Mercury governs including the part nobody names, why Scorpio takes you to the origin of your inner narrative instead of the summary, the three step exercise for rewriting the sentence you keep repeating about yourself, what your brain is doing while you do it, how to find this retrograde in your own birth chart, and the practices for the next three weeks. Mercury retrograde runs October 24 to November 13, all of it in Scorpio, with the turning point on November 4. Listen with a journal. Topics Covered: What a retrograde actually is, and why the backward motion is apparent and not real The five dates to write down: October 24, October 30, November 4, November 8, November 13 Why this one happens in a single sign, and what that changes The shadow period, open since October 4 and clearing November 29 Where Mercury retrograde got the worst reputation in astrology, and the honest mechanism underneath it The four habits that handle the entire practical side Everything Mercury governs: communication, information, technology, learning, memory, and the mind itself The one nobody names: Mercury as the narrator of your own life Why Scorpio goes for the origin instead of the summary Ask why once and you get an excuse, ask why four times and you get the memory Mars in Leo squaring Mercury on October 30, and why pride swings first Why your vision and your inner narrative have to match before anything can land You do not manifest what you want, you manifest what you believe is available to someone like you The three step exercise: the sentence, the origin, the rewrite The default mode network, and why it runs loudest exactly when you turn inward Reconsolidation, and why revisiting an old story is the only moment it can change Why naming a feeling in words lowers its charge, and why the journal is the tool for this transit How to find the band from 5 to 21 degrees of Scorpio in your own chart, house by house What to do, what to wait on, and the ritual dates for all three weeks Why an old person or an old opportunity returning is asking one question: unfinished, or unhealed Journaling Prompts: What is the sentence I say about myself most often, in my exact words? Where did I first hear it, and in whose voice? What was I telling myself about who I was in the autumn of 2013? Is any of it still running? What is my vision, and what would I have to believe about myself to receive it? Where am I sabotaging the thing I say I want, and what does that sabotage protect me from? What conversation am I still rehearsing, and what am I actually trying to say? What am I calling a preference that is really a resentment? If the story about me were rewritten today, what is the first thing I would do differently tomorrow? Every time a planet stations retrograde, the same question lands in my inbox. Should I stop? Stop launching, stop deciding, stop dating, stop asking, stop wanting. The answer is no, and that advice has done more damage to more people than almost anything else in modern astrology, because it teaches you that the sky is something to hide from. There is a real answer underneath the question, and it is more useful than yes or no. Manifestation has two motions. Calling in, which is the part everyone teaches, and clearing out, which is the part almost nobody does. A retrograde does not stop the work. It tells you which half of the work you are in. Say you have been calling in more money. The forward version is the new offer and the new pitch and the new client. The backward version is the invoice you never sent, the rate you never raised, and the person who owes you something you have never once asked for. Same desire, completely different action. Then I hand you the brain science, because yours runs on the same rhythm. You do not learn while you are practicing, you learn in between, and an old memory only becomes editable in the moment you go back to it. That is exactly what a retrograde is for. Venus has been retrograde since October 3, Mercury stations retrograde on October 24, and both of them station direct on November 13. Here is what to keep doing, what to hold, and the one list to write this weekend. Topics Covered: Why “stop everything during a retrograde” is the worst advice in modern astrology The two motions of manifestation: calling in, and clearing out Why whatever you have not cleared will filter out whatever you are calling in The money example: the new pitch versus the invoice you never sent What a retrograde actually is, and why the backward motion is apparent, not real The freeway analogy that takes the fear out of it Every retrograde runs on the same prefix: review, revise, reconsider, return, reclaim, repair, remember Why most of what you want is waiting on an old idea you never finished Consolidation: you do not learn while you are practicing, you learn in between Why forward motion without review is accumulation, not progress Reconsolidation: an old memory is only editable while you are revisiting it Prediction error, and why a different response to a familiar return is what rewrites the pattern When an old client, an old want, or an old person circles back, what that moment actually is Venus retrograde from October 3 to November 13, from Scorpio back into Libra Mercury stationing retrograde on October 24 in Scorpio, direct on November 13 Why November 13 is the anchor date of the next four weeks The Sun entering Scorpio on October 23 and the Full Moon in Taurus on October 25 What to keep doing: your daily practice, the intention, the sixty seconds What to do now: anything with “re” in front of it, and why retrogrades reward finishers The one question to ask when something returns: is it unfinished, or is it unhealed What deserves a second read before you say yes The difference between reviewing and hesitating, and how to tell which one you are doing The practice: write every unfinished thing you are carrying, then circle three Resources: Get the Libra Season Workbook to work with the full moon cycle Get your Free Natal Chart to find your Venus sign and house Listen to The Power of 30 Days, the visualization practice this episode builds on Follow Spirit Daughter on Instagram Visit the Spirit Daughter Website Get my book Spirit Daughter Book a Natal Chart Reading Try the Moment App for free See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
You know her as The Birds Papaya. Four kids, three and a half million people, the Sports Illustrated runway walk in Miami that went viral while she was postpartum. What almost nobody knows is the thing she says out loud in this reading. She has never once felt confident before doing any of it. Sarah Nicole Landry has a Capricorn sun sitting in the eleventh house, which is why her sun sign never quite made sense to her. Capricorn builds things that last. The eleventh house is community. So her core essence was never about building her own life, it was about building something lasting for everyone else, and Jupiter sits right there with it. Then there is a moon in Aries in the first house, a Pisces rising with Mars sitting on it, and the placement that stopped her mid sentence: Chiron in Gemini in the third house, the voice wound. We get into the hundred pounds she lost and the confidence that was not waiting on the other side, the four hours a day she spends in her DMs and why she calls that her life’s work, the two marriages and two divorces and the shame she carried about a life that refused to be linear, and the path her chart is actually walking her toward. Out of the burning buildings of a south node in Scorpio and into a quiet meadow in Taurus in the second house, where worth and abundance live in the same room. Pull up your chart at chart.spiritdaughter.com and find your Chiron before you listen. Topics Covered: Where the name The Birds Papaya came from, and the eighteen years behind it Losing a hundred pounds and finding out confidence was not waiting at the end Why confidence follows the action instead of arriving before it The narratives women are sold about aging, and why her forties feel better than any decade before “You do not get that back”: the regret of sidelining yourself in a postpartum body Capricorn sun in the eleventh house, and why her sun sign never fit until we placed it Why the house a planet sits in changes everything about how it shows up Moon in Aries in the first house: emotions embedded in identity, and the willingness to defend them Jupiter in Capricorn in the eleventh house: building something that outlasts you Social media and podcasts as the modern eleventh house The throat chakra reading, and learning that how she feels matters Letting her kids see her struggle, and modeling self advocacy for them Pisces rising with Mars on the ascendant in the twelfth house: fighting for people who cannot fight for themselves Four hours a day in her DMs, and what she actually counts as success Chiron in Gemini in the third house: the voice wound you came in with Why the wound becomes the medicine once you heal it Sagittarius at the midheaven: teaching people freedom inside their own bodies Mercury and Uranus in the ninth house, and the book sitting in her chart The eighth house: shame, intimacy, transformation, and everything nobody wants to talk about South node, Saturn, and Pluto in Scorpio: committed to the depths, and the risk of getting stuck there Why some people get attached to transformation itself Two marriages, two divorces, and the shame of a life that is not linear North node in Taurus in the second house: the walk out of the fire and into the meadow Why self worth and abundance live in the same house What happens when peace costs you other people’s approval Being a thought leader, and the ten years it takes for people to catch up Timestamps: [00:02] Welcome, and the name everyone knows her by [01:34] Gemma Birdie and Maya Papaya: where The Birds Papaya came from [03:59] Four kids, a hundred pounds lost, and the confidence that never showed up [05:22] Why confidence follows the action instead of arriving before it [06:18] The narratives women are sold about aging and the body [07:34] The pool, the cover up, and what we miss while we wait [09:29] “You do not get that back”: the regret of sidelining yourself at 25 [10:26] Why her forties feel better than any decade before them [11:26] The big three: Capricorn sun, Aries moon, Pisces rising [11:44] Capricorn sun in the eleventh house, and why her sun sign never fit [14:45] Shame, stretch marks, and the moment the grip loosened [16:28] Social media as the modern eleventh house, and Jupiter in Capricorn there [17:56] “What if this all goes away?” and what a Capricorn eleventh house answers [19:58] The throat chakra reading, and learning that how she feels matters [21:16] Letting her kids see her struggle [22:49] Modeling self advocacy for your children [24:42] Pisces rising with Mars on the ascendant: fighting for the people who cannot [26:52] Four hours a day in her DMs, and what she counts as success [28:41] Chiron in Gemini in the third house: the voice wound that becomes the medicine [33:59] “Something good can come from anything” [35:54] The through line: heal the voice, then use it to shift the collective [36:46] “There is a lot I have not said yet” [38:09] Mercury and Uranus in the ninth house, and the book in her chart [42:12] Two marriages, two divorces, and the shame of a life that is not linear [42:56] North node in Taurus in the second house: the walk toward the meadow [45:15] Why self worth and abundance live in the same house [50:17] What to be cautious of: getting attached to transformation [51:42] When peace costs you other people’s approval [55:01] You are not part of the community, you are the community [57:05] Where to find Sarah Resources: Follow Sarah Nicole Landry on Instagram Visit The Birds Papaya Listen to The Papaya Podcast Follow Spirit Daughter on Instagram Visit the Spirit Daughter Website Get your Free Natal Chart to find your Chiron Get my book Spirit Daughter Book a Natal Chart Reading Try the Moment App for free Get the Libra Season Workbook See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
Most people write intentions on a New Moon and then never look at them again until the next one. That is the part that is costing you. A few weeks ago I told you that an intention is not a wish you send out, it is an instruction you send in. This is the other half. What happens in the thirty days after you write it, and why that window is the whole practice. I walk you through how I actually build a vision: the kitchen, the light, the clothes I pick out, the conversation with my partner, the number on the screen. Then the part almost nobody teaches, which is that all of those details exist to evoke one feeling, and the feeling is what you stay attached to. The details can change. They often do. The feeling is what you are manifesting. Then we get into the thirty days. New Moon to New Moon is about thirty days, and that is also the window where behavior changes and habits form. Your brain runs on what is familiar because familiar is cheap and safe, and changing it costs real energy, so it will not change unless you tell it to. Reading your vision every day from a regulated state is how you tell it. You are directing your attention, which means your brain starts flagging the opportunities that match instead of letting them slide past. The New Moon in Libra arrives Saturday, October 10, at 8:50 AM PT, at seventeen degrees. Write it tomorrow. Then do not forget about it. Topics Covered: Why your intentions stop working the moment you file them away A quick recap: an intention is an instruction, not a goal, a fantasy, or a wish list How to build a vision with real detail: the room, the light, the clothes, the conversations, the feeling Why Jill puts her closet in her vision, and what the clothes you choose tell you about the day you are having The fine line between getting specific and getting attached Why the feeling is the thing you are actually manifesting, and why the details are allowed to change The thirty day container, New Moon to New Moon, and why it lines up with the lunar cycle Behavior change at twenty one to thirty days, and why she uses the longer number Reading your vision daily from a regulated nervous system, and why the same time each day matters Pairing it with meditation or breath work so your brain is actually listening Why your brain defaults to the familiar, and the real energy cost of changing it The hunter gatherer field, the tiger, and why your brain refuses the greener grass How daily repetition directs your attention toward the opportunities you would otherwise scan right past Why manifestation is also about making your own future feel safe enough to walk toward What to do at the next New Moon: review from who you are now, revise, and repeat Jill’s own daily practice: rereading the vision, then writing what she is claiming and what she is calling in If you want more time, put more time in the vision The New Moon in Libra on October 10 and how to use it Timestamps: [00:17] A deeper dive into what happens after you set intentions [00:30] The recap: intentions are instructions, not goals or wish lists [01:35] Building the vision, detail by detail [03:03] Getting specific, then detaching from the specifics [03:47] Why the feeling is what makes it real to your brain [04:09] The details may change, the feeling stays [05:13] Into the thirty days: New Moon to New Moon [06:14] Why behavior changes around twenty one to thirty days [06:47] Reading it daily from a regulated nervous system [08:05] Why your brain loves the familiar [08:43] The real energy cost of changing your brain [09:02] The hunter gatherer field and the tiger [10:00] Directing your attention so you stop scanning past the opportunity [11:22] Convincing your brain over thirty days [12:17] At the next New Moon: review, revise, repeat [13:37] Jill’s own practice: the vision, then the affirmations [14:30] If you want more time, put it in the vision [15:30] Close and where to go next Journaling Prompts: What did I write on the last New Moon, and when did I last read it? What is the one feeling underneath everything I am asking for? Where in my vision am I gripping the details instead of the feeling? What time of day can I realistically give this sixty seconds, every day, for thirty days? What does my nervous system need first so I am reading this from a regulated state? What am I claiming right now, and what am I calling in to support it? You asked for this one. After the first house mini episode, so many of you wrote in wanting to go deeper into your rising sign, so here is the full hour. Your rising sign is the sign that was on the eastern horizon the moment you took your first breath, and it changes about every two hours, which is why two people born on the same day in the same hospital can be almost entirely different. I have met twins born twenty minutes apart with different rising signs. It is the most personal placement in your chart, and it is also the one most people cannot see in themselves. Here is why. Your rising sign is not only how people meet you. It is the lens you are looking through, and you cannot see the glasses you are wearing. It is also the architecture of your whole chart. It starts your first house, every other house follows from it, and its planetary ruler becomes the ruler of your entire life. Find that ruler, find the house it sits in, and you have just found the most important area of your chart. Then I walk you through all twelve rising signs: what people feel when you enter a room, what you are seeing when you look out, and the specific thing each one is growing into. I do not think we learn our rising sign. I think we are born in it, forget it somewhere in childhood, and spend the rest of our lives remembering it. Pull up your chart at chart.spiritdaughter.com and find yours. Topics Covered: What your rising sign actually is, and why it changes about every two hours Why your exact birth time matters, and why the birth certificate beats your mother’s memory Twins born twenty minutes apart with different rising signs, and what that tells you How to work out your rising sign if you do not know your birth time The sun, the moon, and the rising sign explained as the rooms of a house Why your rising sign is the front door, and why a front door is not a mask The lens problem: why you cannot always see your own rising sign Jill on her own Libra rising, and the years it took to recognize it under a Leo sun and a Scorpio moon What the rising sign governs: first impressions, how you begin things, your appearance, your identity, and your view of the world Your chart ruler, how to find it, and why the house it sits in becomes the most important area of your life Why we do not learn our rising sign, we remember it How childhood teaches us to hide the very thing we came in radiating Aries rising: the spark, the charge, the courage, and learning that not everyone sees the action you see Taurus rising: grounded, unhurried, fully present, and learning that steadiness beats rushing to any finish line Gemini rising: light, curious, endlessly talkable, and learning to funnel that mental energy into one thing Cancer rising: the nurturer everyone brings their heart to, and learning to build your own container of care Leo rising: radiance people remember, and learning to stop dimming it Virgo rising: observant, discerning, quietly optimizing everything, and learning not to turn the inner critic inward Libra rising: calm, gracious, immediately connected, and learning to speak your truth even when it creates disharmony Scorpio rising: depth people feel before you speak, and learning that your intensity is your power Sagittarius rising: optimism, expansion, the highest meaning, and learning to take the leap without the guarantee Capricorn rising: the one everyone assumes is capable, and learning to be playful and to separate worth from achievement Aquarius rising: Saturn and Uranus at once, the rule keeper and the rule breaker, and learning that not everyone has to get you Pisces rising: mystical, empathic, almost translucent, and learning where you end and everyone else begins Why you should ask a friend what their first impression of you was Planets sitting on your ascendant and the extra layer they add Timestamps: [00:03] Welcome, and why this one is a longer episode [01:01] What your rising sign actually is, and why it changes about every two hours [01:19] Why your exact birth time matters [01:42] The twins born twenty minutes apart [03:31] What to do if you do not know your birth time [04:44] The big three explained as the rooms of a house [05:39] Your rising sign is the front door, and a front door is not a mask [07:10] The lens problem: why you cannot always see your own rising sign [08:24] Jill on her Libra rising, under a Leo sun and a Scorpio moon [10:24] What the rising sign actually governs [11:51] Your chart ruler, and why the house it sits in matters most [13:07] We do not learn our rising sign, we remember it [16:00] Aries rising [20:08] Taurus rising [24:08] Gemini rising [27:57] Cancer rising [31:47] Leo rising [34:44] Virgo rising [38:07] Libra rising [42:10] Scorpio rising [46:30] Sagittarius rising [49:17] Capricorn rising [52:34] Aquarius rising [55:54] Pisces rising [59:25] All twelve, and how to embody yours [1:01:10] Finding your chart ruler and the house it sits in [1:02:15] Planets sitting on your ascendant [1:02:54] Close, and where to go deeper Journaling Prompts: What do people say about me the first time they meet me, and how long has that been true? You called in, and this week I am reading your charts on air. Three questions, three very different charts, and every one of them holds something you will recognize in your own. Kim wanted to know what a sextile and a trine actually are, and what it means to carry six placements in Capricorn across the ninth and tenth houses. So we start there: a sextile is a gift you unwrap, a trine is a gift you already carry, and a stellium is a lot of power pointed in one direction. Dawn called in from Ann Arbor with no planets in earth and wanted to know what to do about it. A missing element is not a flaw, it is unfinished business, and I show you the three places in your chart to go find it. Then a caller from Missouri, rebuilding her work and her relationships after motherhood, asked how to tell a true calling to care for others from over functioning. Her Jupiter in Pisces in the eighth house says healer. Her Moon in Capricorn in the sixth house says prove it. I give her four questions to tell the two apart in the moment. Pull up your own chart and listen along. One of these is yours. Topics Covered: What an aspect actually is, and why the distance between two planets tells you how those parts of you talk The sextile: 60 degrees, an unlocked door, and the opportunity that waits for you to move first The trine: 120 degrees, same element, and the gift you use so easily you forget to count it The shadow side of a trine, and the better question to ask of it What a stellium is, and why six placements in Capricorn point at one summit Capricorn in the ninth and tenth houses: building a body of work and earning authority instead of announcing it Why Capricorn matures in reverse, and the twenties that feel behind before the forties that make sense How to find the placements that support a stellium through sextile and trine What it means to have no planets in an element, and why you still have that element in your chart The two ways a missing element shows up: avoiding it entirely, or overcorrecting into it Where to find your earth anyway: Saturn, the houses ruled by Taurus, Virgo, and Capricorn, and your second, sixth, and tenth houses Building a missing element on purpose: external structure, one repetition, and finishing one thing Moon in Capricorn in the sixth house, and the emotional home built out of usefulness Jupiter in Pisces in the eighth house: the real healer, and the placement with no natural edges Four questions to tell a true calling from over functioning while it is happening What Leo rising is actually asking for, and why being indispensable is not the same as being seen Releasing the belief that rest has to be earned, and the difference between a routine that holds you and a routine that scores you Resources: Follow Spirit Daughter on Instagram Visit the Spirit Daughter Website Get your Free Natal Chart to find your aspects, your stelliums, and your elements Get my book Spirit Daughter Book a Natal Chart Reading Try the Moment App for free Get the Libra Season Workbook Try the Moment App for free: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/moment-by-spirit-daughter/id6739384947 Get the Libra Season Workbook: https://spiritdaughter.com/collections/workbook See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
You have already seen the lists telling you what not to do for the next six weeks. This episode is not that. Venus stations retrograde on October 3 at 8 degrees of Scorpio and stations direct on November 13 in Libra, and Venus rules your heart, your self worth, your money, and everything you attract. When it turns inward, you get one of the most healing windows in all of astrology. I walk you through the whole timeline: retrograde in Scorpio during Libra season, the Venus star point on October 23 when it meets the sun and turns from an evening star into a morning star, the move back into Libra on October 25, and Mercury stationing retrograde right in the middle of it. Then I show you what each half is asking of you. Scorpio goes into the shadow, the self sabotage, the Venus wound sitting in your own chart, and the heartbreak you thought you had finished. Libra brings it back to partnership: how you show love, how you receive it, and what you believe you are worthy of attracting. This one comes with practices, including the 40 day list that leaves you with 400 things you love about yourself in your own handwriting. Venus retrograde is not happening to you. It is happening for you. Topics Covered: What a retrograde actually is, and why the backward motion is an optical illusion The full timeline: retrograde October 3 in Scorpio, back into Libra October 25, direct November 13 Why it turns retrograde in Scorpio during Libra season and moves through Libra during Scorpio season Mercury retrograde overlapping from late October, and why the two retrogrades are nothing alike Venus as a planet of manifestation: what you let yourself want, and what you let yourself receive The eight year cycle, and what was happening in your heart in 2018 and in 2010 Why an ex often returns during Venus retrograde, and what it is usually there for Venus retrograde in Scorpio: shadow work, self sabotage, and the heartbreak you thought was finished Your Venus wound in your natal chart becoming impossible to ignore Projecting your own shadow onto your partner during Libra season Why shadow work is about acceptance, not removal, and how self belief grows out of self love The Venus star point on October 23 and the shift from evening star to morning star Why the descent always ends in a rise Venus retrograde in Libra: how you show love, how you receive it, and what you attract Attracting from your wounds versus attracting from your worth Being partner number one to yourself, and using that as the blueprint for everyone else What to do: review your commitments, have the conversation you have been avoiding, reconnect with a friend, return to a creative project, forgive What to wait on: new relationships, impulsive decisions about your appearance or your money, and assuming a returning ex means reconciliation The 40 day practice: 10 things you love about yourself every day, 400 by the end Giving yourself your own love language The letter you write and never send Going outside to watch Venus move from an evening star to a morning star Journaling Prompts: What was happening in my love life and my money in the autumn of 2018? You have set intentions before. On a New Moon. On the first day of the year. On a night when something in you decided things were going to be different. And then two weeks later you could not remember what you wrote. So this episode is not about how to set an intention. It is about why. Why this one practice sits at the center of everything I teach, when it takes ninety seconds and nobody is checking your work. The answer is not that the universe is waiting to take your order. It is that your brain is listening. An intention is not a wish you send out. It is an instruction you send in. Before I was an astrologer I was a neuroscientist, and in this one I hand you the science. Your brain filters what you notice, predicts what is coming, and rewires itself through repetition, and an intention is the one lever you have on all three. I break down why you cannot do a goal, what the research on implementation intentions actually found, and why dopamine spikes in the pursuit and not the arrival. Then I give you the four steps you can do tonight, and I show you the sequence the sky is walking us through: release on the Full Moon in Aries September 26, review through Venus retrograde starting October 3, plant on the New Moon in Libra October 10. Write one sentence tonight. That is the whole practice. Topics Covered: Why your intentions keep fading by week two The real question: not how to set an intention, but why it works Intention versus goal, and why you cannot do a goal How an intention lives in today while a goal lives in someday Why an intention changes what you notice, what you choose, and what you are willing to do Filtering: the reticular activating system and how your brain decides what gets through What happens when your filter has been set for years to notice what is missing Predicting: why your brain is not a camera, it is a prediction machine Wiring: neuroplasticity and why repetition is the whole mechanism Specificity and the research on implementation intentions Dopamine spikes in the anticipation and the pursuit, not the arrival Why the intentions that work are the ones you can feel in your chest The Full Moon in Aries on September 26 at three degrees, and what to release Venus stationing retrograde October 3 through November 13 and your relationship with worth The New Moon in Libra on October 10 at seventeen degrees as your intention setting window Step one: name the state, not the outcome Step two: attach a when and a where Step three: feel it for sixty seconds Step four: repeat it for thirty days, and what to do when you miss a day Why small and repeated beats big and rare every time Writing it by hand, in the same place, so you can watch what changes The Call It In Method, starting October 1, with enrollment closing September 30 Why you are already setting intentions, and most of them are old ones Timestamps: The OMNY file for this episode has a single continuous time marker, so section timestamps are not available. Gabby Bernstein has written eleven books, was named a thought leader by Oprah, and has been teaching spiritual principles for twenty years. She is also the reason Spirit Daughter exists. I read her first book over a decade ago, and it cracked something open in me that eventually became this whole life. So having her in the room to read her chart is a full circle moment I still cannot quite believe. Gabby is Sagittarius rising with Neptune in Sagittarius sitting in the twelfth house, which is why people feel the room expand the second she walks on a stage. Then there is Scorpio, three placements of it, including her sun in the tenth house. Sagittarius is wide. Scorpio goes to the depths of the psyche and refuses to come back up until it understands what it found. That combination is her entire body of work. We also get into her Chiron in Taurus in the fourth house, the worth wound underneath the woman who hires help and then quietly does the job herself, and the Chiron return that starts for her this June. Gabby gets honest about things she does not always say out loud. Addiction in her early twenties and sobriety at twenty five. Losing a pregnancy at six months and the kitten who arrived to heal her. Channeling every one of her books, including the one she is writing right now with no outline, chapter by chapter, as it is given to her. And the piece I want everyone to hear: your nervous system cannot manifest from hypervigilance. Manifestation is not about getting things. It is about returning to who you really are. Pull up your own chart, find your Chiron, and listen in. Topics Covered: Why Gabby's first book became the spark behind Spirit Daughter Sagittarius rising and why so many teachers carry it Neptune in Sagittarius in the twelfth house and the expansion people feel around her Sun in Scorpio in the tenth house: going deep in public Three Scorpio placements, and Gabby on being hit with a lot of tsunamis South Node in Pisces and North Node in Virgo: the escape she left behind and the teaching she came for The reverse nodal return she is completing, and why it arrives around forty five The low side of the Pisces South Node: escapism, isolation, addiction, and getting sober at twenty five The low side of the Virgo North Node: perfectionism and burnout Channeling all eleven books, and writing the new one with no outline Chiron in Taurus in the fourth house: worth, the body, and the childhood foundation Hiring people and then doing their job anyway, and what that pattern is really about The tarot reading about Tupperware and China plates Internal Family Systems: protector parts, Self energy, and updating a part instead of removing it The Chiron return, what it is, and why it comes only once, just before fifty Why you cannot manifest from a nervous system stuck in fight or flight Manifestation as a return to who you already are Gabby's meditation practice: an hour a day at noon The cemetery tree, her son Ollie, and a faith of your own understanding Libra midheaven with Pluto in Libra: holding opposing truths as her legacy Moon in Aries in the third house: born to communicate from the heart Saturn in Virgo in the ninth house: the soul contract to teach, and the mentors who shaped her The eleventh house stack and why she stays in real relationship with her community Her Jupiter return in 2027 and the launch window it opens Neptune and Saturn in Aries pressing on her moon, and what that means for the writing ahead Timestamps: 00:02 Welcome, and the full circle moment of reading Gabby's chart 01:36 Twenty years of demystifying spiritual principles for the seeker 02:19 How Gabby's first book sparked Spirit Daughter 04:36 The big three: Sagittarius rising, Scorpio sun, Aries moon 05:38 Neptune in Sagittarius in the twelfth house 06:42 Sun in Scorpio in the tenth house: wide versus deep 07:44 Three Scorpio placements and a lot of tsunamis 09:28 The lunar nodes and the reverse nodal return 13:03 Channeling every book, and how the frequency shifts 13:23 Pisces South Node: addiction, and sobriety at twenty five 15:50 Virgo North Node: come down the mountain and teach 17:53 Tupperware and China plates 19:22 Chiron in Taurus in the fourth house and the worth wound 25:24 Internal Family Systems and updating your protector parts 27:48 The Chiron return, and why it happens once 31:38 Why a dysregulated nervous system cannot manifest 33:54 Manifestation is not about getting things 36:38 An hour of meditation a day, and the kitten who came to heal her 39:43 The cemetery tree and a faith of your own understanding 41:19 Libra midheaven and Pluto in Libra: her legacy 42:50 Moon in Aries in the third house 43:41 Saturn in Virgo in the ninth house and the mentors who shaped her 48:29 The eleventh house stack and staying in relationship with her community 50:28 Writing the new book chapter by chapter, with no outline 51:12 The Jupiter return in 2027 and the window it opens 57:23 Neptune and Saturn in Aries on her moon: the next six months 1:02:02 How the title Spirit Daughter came to be 1:04:17 Where to find Gabby Resources: Follow Gabby Bernstein on Instagram Visit Dear Gabby Find Gabby's books, including Self Help, Super Attractor, and The Universe Has Your Back Listen to the Dear Gabby podcast Join the free Train Your Brain for Abundance masterclass Enroll in The Call It In Method before enrollment closes September 30 Follow Spirit Daughter on Instagram Visit the Spirit Daughter Website Get your Free Natal Chart to find your Chiron Get my book Spirit Daughter Book a Natal Chart Reading Try the Moment App for free Get the Libra Season Workbook See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
You already know your sun sign matters for manifestation. It is your core essence, the center of you, and when your inner sun is out of alignment, nothing else in your life lines up either. What most people do not know is that two other planets in your chart are doing the quiet, deciding work: Venus and Jupiter. Venus is how you attract and how you receive. It is also where your self worth lives, which means you only allow yourself to hold what you feel worthy of. A Venus wound looks like playing small, deflecting compliments, not asking for what you actually want, attracting the safe version instead of the real one, or standing right next to an opportunity and never seeing it. Jupiter is expansion, abundance, and your highest potential, and a Jupiter wound looks like missing the finish line on purpose. It is settling for the smaller version, refusing to hope for the best so you cannot be disappointed, or feeling like you are taking up too much space the moment your vision actually arrives. In this mini episode I show you what each wound looks like, how to read your own Venus and Jupiter signs for the healing, and what happens when the two work against each other, where Venus attracts effortlessly but Jupiter will not let you expand, or Jupiter opens the door and Venus will not let you receive. Pull up your chart, find your Venus sign and your Jupiter sign, and listen in. Venus stations retrograde on October 3, so this is the moment to understand it. Topics Covered: Why your sun sign is the center of your manifestation and has to stay in alignment Venus and Jupiter as your two manifestation planets, and why their signs flavor everything Venus as attraction, receiving, and self worth What a Venus wound looks like: playing small, deflecting, and settling for the safe version Attracting opportunities that do not match your worth How to read your Venus sign and house for the healing, with Venus in Leo and Venus in Libra as examples Jupiter as abundance, expansion, luck, and your highest potential What a Jupiter wound looks like: selling yourself short right at the finish line Refusing to hope for the best so you cannot be disappointed Feeling like you are taking too big a piece of the pie Why your brain treats your biggest vision as unsafe How to read your Jupiter sign for the healing, with Jupiter in Virgo and Jupiter in Aquarius as examples When Venus and Jupiter work against each other, and how to spot it in your chart How your moon, your second house, your eighth house, and your tenth house factor in Venus stationing retrograde on October 3 and what to do with that window Timestamps: 00:03 Why your sun sign is the center of everything you manifest 01:13 Venus and Jupiter, your two manifestation planets 03:21 What a Venus wound looks like: playing small and deflecting 05:14 Venus in Leo and Venus in Libra as examples 06:40 Jupiter, abundance, and the fear of expansion 08:20 Why you stop yourself right before the finish line 08:51 How your brain protects you from your biggest visions 09:59 Healing the Jupiter wound through its sign 11:03 When Venus and Jupiter work against each other 12:25 How your sun, moon, and houses factor in 13:53 Venus retrograde on October 3 and the free abundance masterclass Resources: Join the free Train Your Brain for Abundance masterclass for in depth information on your sun, Venus, and Jupiter signs Get your Free Natal Chart to find your Venus and Jupiter signs Follow Spirit Daughter on Instagram Visit the Spirit Daughter Website Get my book Spirit Daughter Book a Natal Chart Reading Try the Moment App for free Get the Libra Season Workbook See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
The twelfth house is the most misunderstood house in the entire zodiac, and it is the one people ask me about the most. What does it mean? What does it mean if I have planets there? What does it mean if I do not? Here is the simplest answer: the twelfth house is the house of the soul. It is where your soul rests. It is your unconscious mind, the part of you that stays hidden from others and sometimes hidden from you. This is the final house of the zodiac, and I do not think of it as an ending. It is the space in between chapters, that pause between the exhale and the inhale. Nothing closes here. Things retreat here. I call it the cave house, because it is where you go to restore, to heal, and to come back to the center of yourself. Where the eleventh house is community and connection, the twelfth house is the opposite. It is you and your soul, alone. It rules spirituality and meditation, the shadows so deep you might spend years on the mat before you catch a glimpse of them, service that goes completely unseen, and karma carried in from other lifetimes. I am an astrologer, but I also have a background in neuroscience, and in this minisode I bring both worlds together. Your sun sign sets an early pattern in your brain, a kind of green light, and your environment reinforces it until it becomes a neural pathway you run without noticing. One of the things it quietly shapes is the specific way you block abundance. None of these are flaws. This is simply the energy running through you, and once you can see it, you can work with it. I walk through all twelve signs by element, name the block for each one, and give you the one shift that starts to dissolve it. Abundance is always available to you. The block is internal, which means it is yours to release. Topics Covered: Why your sun sign creates the pattern for how you block abundance, and how your environment reinforces it The brain science underneath it all: neural patterns, neuroplasticity, and why the block is within your control Fire signs, the dreamers: Aries and burnout, Leo and recognition, Sagittarius and someday Earth signs, the doubters: Taurus and comfort, Virgo and never feeling ready, Capricorn and earning it Air signs, the overthinkers: Gemini and a scattered signal, Libra and permission, Aquarius and staying the outsider Water signs, the survivors: Cancer and safety, Scorpio and control, Pisces and giving it away The one shift each sign can make to start letting abundance in How to use awareness and contrary evidence to rewire the pattern in your brain Next week: Venus and Jupiter, the two manifestation planets Resources: Take the free Abundance Blocks by Zodiac quiz to find your block and your next steps Sign Up for the Abundance Masterclass Follow Spirit Daughter on Instagram Visit the Spirit Daughter Website Get your Free Natal Chart Book a Natal Chart Reading Try the Moment App for free Get the Virgo Season Workbook See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
You know Kaitlyn Bristowe as the party girl. The Bachelorette, the mirrorball on Dancing with the Stars, the host of Off the Vine who dances around in a bathing suit and makes you laugh. Her chart tells a different story. Under the Gemini sun sits a stack of Cancer placements, and this is the side of Kaitlyn most people never get to see. In this reading we go into the depth she keeps hidden. Kaitlyn’s Gemini sun lives in the twelfth house, the most private house in the chart, so the woman the world meets at the front door is only part of the story. Her moon, rising, Mercury, and Mars all sit in Cancer, which makes her deeply emotional, highly sensitive, and far more intuitive than she lets on. We talk about why her first impression reads as soft and nurturing, why she holds her words back when she cannot say them perfectly, and how to rebuild trust in an intuition that went quiet. We also follow the thread of her nodes, from a south node in Scorpio that pulls her toward drama and fuels her creativity, to a north node in Taurus in the eleventh house that is calling her toward stillness, nature, and community. Topics Covered: Why Kaitlyn’s first impression reads as Cancer, not the Gemini everyone expects The twelfth house sun and the depth she keeps hidden from the public Sun, moon, and rising explained as the rooms of your house Virgo in the third house and the perfectionism that makes her hold her words back How to rebuild trust in your intuition when it has gone quiet Why doom scrolling is a block for your intuition The cave house and why alone time is not optional for a highly sensitive person Her south node in Scorpio, the pull toward drama, and where her creativity comes from Her north node in Taurus in the eleventh house and the grounded life it points to Jupiter in Aquarius and the retreats she is being called to build for her community The steady Capricorn partner and integrator she keeps reaching for Timestamps: 00:00 Meet Kaitlyn and the Gemini sun you did not expect 02:00 The big three and the Cancer energy under the surface 04:00 Sun, moon, and rising as the rooms of your house 07:00 Virgo in the third house and perfectionism in how she communicates 14:00 Intuition, psychic ability, and why she stopped trusting it 16:30 How to feel your feelings and rebuild your intuition 19:30 Why doom scrolling blocks your intuition 23:00 The cave house and the case for alone time 25:00 Living in New York as a highly sensitive person 34:30 South node in Scorpio, the pull toward drama, and creativity 37:00 North node in Taurus in the eleventh house: grounding and community 43:30 Jupiter in Aquarius and the retreats she wants to build 47:00 The Capricorn partner she keeps reaching for 49:00 The homework: make time to feel Resources: Follow Kaitlyn Bristowe on Instagram Follow Off the Vine on Instagram Follow Spirit Daughter on Instagram Visit the Spirit Daughter Website Book a Natal Chart Reading Try the Moment App for free Get the Virgo Season Workbook See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
We are near the top of the house series with only two houses left, and this week we land in the one people understand the least. The eleventh house is your community. It is your friendships, your network, your platform, and the stage your work builds for you. It is naturally ruled by Aquarius, so it carries that visionary, future facing energy, and it holds something I never want you to forget: your hopes and your dreams. Where the tenth house is the spotlight and the career you are recognized for, the eleventh house is what that recognition produces, the audience, the circle of like minded people who gather around you. It is the house of belonging, not the family kind but the chosen kind, the people you fit with naturally without performing. In this mini episode I break down what the eleventh house really rules and then walk you through it sign by sign, from Aries to Pisces. Pull up your chart, find the sign on your eleventh house, and press play. Topics Covered: What the eleventh house rules: community, friendships, network, platform, and your hopes and dreams Why it is the fruit of the tenth house, and how belonging here differs from fourth house roots How to find the sign ruling your eleventh house in your own chart Aries: the leader and initiator, with a growth edge in letting others lead Taurus: the loyal, small, beautiful circle, with a growth edge in expansion Gemini: the wide social web and the exchange of ideas, with a growth edge in going deep Cancer: friends as chosen family and emotional safety, with a growth edge in not over mothering Leo: the celebratory host who attracts creative, ambitious people, with a growth edge in sharing the spotlight Virgo: the practical planner who builds foundations that last, with a growth edge in allowing imperfection Libra: the peacemaker and connector, with a growth edge in welcoming honest disharmony Scorpio: the deep, intense circles that go to the root, with a growth edge in being held by others Sagittarius: the expansive, cross cultural network, with a growth edge in the community at home Capricorn: the serious, committed, lasting community, with a growth edge in finding real joy in it Aquarius: fully home here, the visionary and humanitarian, with a growth edge in one on one connection Pisces: the spiritual, compassionate, dreamlike community, with a growth edge in discernment Resources: Listen to the earlier episodes in the house series: Listen to The First House Listen to The Second House Listen to The Third House Listen to The Fourth House Listen to The Fifth House Listen to The Sixth House Listen to The Seventh House Listen to The Eighth House Listen to The Ninth House Listen to The Tenth House Follow Spirit Daughter on Instagram Visit the Spirit Daughter Website Get your Free Natal Chart to find your eleventh house Book a Natal Chart Reading Get the Virgo Season Workbook See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
Everyone braces for their Saturn return like a storm is coming. What almost no one tells you is that Saturn is only one of many returns moving through your chart, and some of them are pure expansion, luck, and reinvention. In this solo episode I go beyond Saturn and walk you through every return you will live through, what each one means, the ages it tends to arrive, and how to work with it on purpose instead of being blindsided. A return is simple once you see it. Your birth chart is a frozen snapshot of the sky at your first breath, and it never changes. What moves is the living sky above you. A return is the moment a planet circles all the way back and lands on the exact spot it held the day you were born, which starts that part of your life over again. The faster the planet, the more often it comes home. I take you from the quick personal returns to the rare, life shaping ones, and by the end you will know exactly which return is active for you right now. Topics Covered: What a return actually is, and why your birth chart stays frozen while the living sky keeps moving The runners on a track image that makes the whole system click Your lunar return: a monthly emotional reset Your solar return: your personal New Year on your birthday, plus the solar return chart and how to cast it Your Venus return: a yearly reset on love, beauty, money, pleasure, and self worth Your Mars return, about every two years: a fresh start on drive, ambition, and what you are building Your Jupiter return, about every twelve years: the lucky, expansive one, around ages 12, 24, 36, 48, and 60 Your Saturn return, reframed: first around age 29, second near 58, third in the mid eighties Your nodal return, about every 18 to 19 years: fated turning points around ages 18, 37, and 55 Your Chiron return near age 50: meeting your deepest wound and turning it into your gift The Uranus half return near age 42: the midlife awakening and how to work with it with grace How to find which return is closest to you right now, and how to meet it as a new beginning Resources: Get your Free Natal Chart to find your returns Follow Spirit Daughter on Instagram Visit the Spirit Daughter Website Get my book Spirit Daughter Book a Natal Chart Reading Try the Moment App for free Get the Virgo Season Workbook See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
We have moved through the depths of the ninth house, and now we climb to the very top of the chart. Welcome to the tenth house, the highest point in your chart and the home of your life’s work. Most people call it the house of career, and it is, but it is so much more than the job you do from nine to five. This is the work your soul came here to do, your public image, your reputation, and the legacy you leave behind for the next generation. In this minisode I break down what the tenth house really governs and why it sits opposite the fourth house. Think of your chart as a tree. The fourth house is your roots, and the tenth house is the branches. The branches can only grow as far as the roots can hold them. I also show you how to find your Midheaven, the sign on your tenth house cusp, and why it holds so much information about your calling. Then I walk you through every sign in the tenth house, from Aries to Pisces. Pull up your chart at chart.spiritdaughter.com, find your tenth house, and press play. Topics Covered: What the tenth house governs: career, life’s work, public image, reputation, and legacy Why your life’s work is bigger than the job you do for money The tenth house and the fourth house as the branches and roots of your tree How to find your Midheaven and the sign on your tenth house cusp Why Capricorn and Saturn rule the tenth house, and the theme of commitment What each sign means in your tenth house, from Aries to Pisces The growth edge each placement carries in your public life and career Resources: Listen to the earlier episodes in the house series: Listen to The First House Listen to The Second House Listen to The Third House Listen to The Fourth House Listen to The Fifth House Listen to The Sixth House Listen to The Seventh House Listen to The Eighth House Listen to The Ninth House Follow Spirit Daughter on Instagram Visit the Spirit Daughter Website Get your Free Natal Chart to find your tenth house Book a Natal Chart Reading Try the Moment App for free Get the Virgo Season Workbook See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
Amanda Kloots does so many things it is hard to name them all. She is a best selling author, a fitness entrepreneur, a television host, and the founder of Proper, a supplement brand built to help you feel good. She is also a single mom and a widow who has walked through public grief and the unimaginable. This week I sit down with Amanda and we start where I always love to start, with her birth chart, and it explains everything. Amanda has Virgo rising, a Sun in Pisces at the very final degrees, a Moon in Capricorn, and a Gemini Midheaven that is doing twenty things at once. Her Sun sits in the seventh house, which makes partnership the center of her soul path, and her Pisces energy is here to teach her trust, surrender, and how to let go of control. This is a powerful conversation about self worth, abundance, and grief as medicine. If you have ever tried to control your way to safety, this one is your permission slip to surrender. The ninth house swings the doors wide open after the depths of the eighth house and says, come up for air. There is a great big wide world out there. In this episode I am continuing the house series with the house of travel, philosophy, spirituality, religion, higher education, and your belief systems. It is ruled by Sagittarius and Jupiter, and it holds the key to how you expand your consciousness and search for truth. Your belief systems are rooted in how wide your perspective is, and if you have a narrow view, you will have a narrow belief system, and you may be limiting yourself without even realizing it. The ninth house is where the big questions live: why are we here, what is the meaning of all this, and how do the experiences we gather along the road of life shape who we become. Then I walk you through every sign in the ninth house, from Aries to Pisces, so you can find the sign on your ninth house cusp and understand how you expand, where you search for truth, and what your growth edge is. Pull up your chart at chart.spiritdaughter.com and find your ninth house before you listen. Topics Covered: What the ninth house governs: travel, philosophy, spirituality, belief systems, and higher education How the ninth house follows the eighth house as a journey from the underworld to expansion How Sagittarius and Jupiter rule the ninth house Travel as more than vacations: long journeys and experiences that broaden your horizons How your belief systems are shaped by how expanded your perspective is The third house and ninth house axis: early childhood education vs. higher learning The existential questions that live in the ninth house How the experiences you gather along the road of life expand your consciousness What each sign means in your ninth house, from Aries to Pisces Growth edges for each sign placement in the ninth house Resources: Listen to the earlier episodes in the house series: Listen to The First House Listen to The Second House Listen to The Third House Listen to The Fourth House Listen to The Fifth House Listen to The Sixth House Listen to The Seventh House Listen to The Eighth House Follow Spirit Daughter on Instagram Visit the Spirit Daughter Website Get your Free Natal Chart to find your ninth house Book a Natal Chart Reading Get the Virgo Season Workbook See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
What if the fastest way to change how you feel is already hanging in your closet? This week I sit down with celebrity stylist Erin Walsh, the woman behind some of the most iconic red carpet moments of the last two decades and the author of The Art of Intentional Dressing. We start where I always love to start, with her birth chart, and it explains everything. Erin has Leo Sun and Venus in the eighth house, Capricorn rising, and a Virgo Moon that has spent a lifetime chasing perfect. As we read it together, you can watch her whole life click into place. This is a conversation about style as a spiritual practice. Erin walks us through her CREATE method, a simple system for getting dressed on purpose so your wardrobe becomes a library of how you want to feel instead of a graveyard of who you used to be. We talk about dressing for the day you want to create, using your intuition in the dressing room, the mirror ritual that rewires how you see yourself, and why the shoes you put on in the morning can shift your whole energy. If you have ever stood in front of a full closet feeling like you have nothing to wear, this one is your permission slip to get intentional. The eighth house is where you go all the way in. We are back in the house series with the deepest, most intense house in the chart: the house of transformation, intimacy, shared resources, and the hidden power most of us never claim. In this episode I break down everything the eighth house holds, why its version of death is really about endings that make room for a rebirth, what it means for shared money like inheritance, taxes, and merging finances with a partner, and why it rules the intimacy that begins after the wedding day, when two souls start to merge as one. It is ruled by Scorpio, Pluto, and Mars, so it runs deep. Then I walk you through every sign in the eighth house, from Aries to Pisces, so you can find the sign on your eighth house cusp and understand how you transform, where your power lives, and what you need in your most intimate relationships. What happens when the woman who broke up your marriage becomes your closest friend and your co parent? Lala Kent and Ambyr Childers lived it, and in this episode I read both of their charts to trace the astrology behind one of the most unlikely friendships you will ever hear. We look at why Ambyr’s Cancer Sun and Lala’s Virgo Sun understand and heal each other, the Chiron in Cancer wound they both carry around mothering themselves, and how co parenting is healing it. Ambyr is closing an eighteen month nodal return in Pisces and Virgo and learning to trust that she has everything she needs within her, right as Lala steps into her own nodal return in Leo and Aquarius alongside a Jupiter return, the year she is called to take up space and stop seeking approval. We also get into love and Venus, self worth versus self confidence, and how two people who started as enemies became soul family. Lala and Ambyr co host the iHeart podcast An Unlikely Affair. Topics Covered: The unlikely story: from sharing the same ex to co parenting and deep friendship Why Cancer Sun and Virgo Sun understand and heal each other Self worth versus self confidence, the lifelong Virgo journey The Chiron in Cancer wound they share, and learning to mother yourself The lunar nodes as your soul’s path, and how a nodal return works Ambyr’s Pisces rising and North Node on the ascendant: I have everything I need within me How to actually meditate without the Virgo self criticism The July 26 node shift, and Lala entering her nodal return in Leo and Aquarius Lala’s Jupiter return in Leo: her year to take up space and release approval Love and Venus: Leo in the ninth house versus Venus in Gemini Timestamps: [00:03] Meet Lala Kent and Ambyr Childers and their unlikely friendship [02:23] From sharing the same ex to co parents and best friends [05:01] Why their charts click: Cancer Sun and Virgo Sun [09:32] Self confidence versus self worth, the Virgo journey [10:31] Healing each other, and the Chiron in Cancer wound they share [15:34] The lunar nodes explained, and Ambyr’s nodal return [21:22] Ambyr’s Pisces rising: I have everything I need within me [22:31] How to actually meditate without the self criticism [27:06] The nodes shift on July 26: Lala enters her nodal return [31:32] Lala’s Jupiter return in Leo: her year to take up space [33:39] Love and Venus: Leo in the ninth house and Venus in Gemini [40:36] Two goddesses here to help others heal [42:19] Where to find Lala and Ambyr Resources: Follow Lala Kent on Instagram Follow Ambyr Childers on Instagram Listen to their podcast An Unlikely Affair on the iHeartRadio app and all podcast platforms Follow Spirit Daughter on Instagram Visit the Spirit Daughter Website Get your Free Natal Chart Book a Natal Chart Reading Get the Leo Season and Total Solar Eclipse Workbook See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
Every so often the sky changes the direction it is asking us to grow in, and not for a day but for the next year and a half. On July 26 the lunar nodes moved into Aquarius and Leo, and this is one of the most important shifts of the whole year, and almost nobody is talking about it. In this minisode I break down what your North Node and South Node actually are, the compass of your soul, and what this new chapter is asking of all of us. The North Node in Aquarius points us toward authenticity, community, freedom, and the courage to be exactly who we are. The South Node in Leo shows us the need for approval and applause we are being invited to gently release. This is also the axis the eclipses will move along now, so these themes will keep showing up in your life and in the world over the next eighteen months. I share a simple journaling practice to work with the shift and one line to say out loud as you step onto the path your soul has been pointing you toward all along. Topics Covered: What the lunar nodes are and why they always work as a pair The South Node as your comfort zone and the North Node as your soul’s direction Why the nodes change signs every eighteen months and reset the lesson for all of us North Node in Aquarius: authenticity, community, freedom, and the future South Node in Leo: releasing the need for approval and the spotlight How this shift moves the eclipse axis onto Aquarius and Leo What the nodes mean on a collective level A journaling practice to honor what you release and reach for what is next Timestamps: [00:00] The sky just changed direction for the next eighteen months [00:45] Welcome and why this shift sets the tone for the next chapter [02:30] What the lunar nodes actually are [06:30] North Node in Aquarius: where we are growing [10:30] South Node in Leo: what we are releasing [14:00] What this means for all of us and the eclipses ahead [16:30] A journaling practice for the new chapter [19:00] Closing: your future is reaching for you Resources: Follow Spirit Daughter on Instagram Visit the Spirit Daughter Website Get my book Spirit Daughter Get your Free Natal Chart to find your North and South Nodes Book a Natal Chart Reading Try the Moment App for free Get the Leo Season Workbook See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

In this episode I read Sheleana’s natal chart and we uncover the astrology behind everything she has built. We start with her Libra rising and the Pluto in Scorpio in her first house that lets her see straight to the depths of a person, then move to the Sun in Aquarius in her fourth house that came here to rewrite what family means. We follow the teacher signature written all through her chart, the Saturn and Uranus conjunction in Sagittarius that turns her into a rule bender, and the Chiron in Gemini in her eighth house, the wound around her voice that became her medicine. Then we look up at the sky arriving for her. Jupiter is moving into Leo and lighting up her tenth house of career for the next thirteen months, right as she launches three books. We talk about how to hold career and motherhood at the same time, why your abundance is tied to your integrity, and how the hardest parts of your story can become the exact place your gifts are born. Topics Covered: Placidus versus whole sign and why I read every degree of your chart Libra rising and the calm, grounding presence people feel right away Pluto in Scorpio in the first house: the gift of seeing straight to the depths Sun in Aquarius in the fourth house and a soul here to rewrite family Chosen family, community, and conscious parenting The teacher signature: Saturn and Uranus in Sagittarius and bending the rules Chiron in Gemini in the eighth house: the voice wound that became her medicine Growing up in foster care and finding her voice in her early twenties North Node and Venus in Pisces in the fifth house: creativity, poetry, and children’s books The nodal return and making a leap on your soul’s path Jupiter in Leo transiting her tenth house: thirteen months of career expansion Mars in Sagittarius in the second house: why your abundance is tied to your integrity Balancing a growing career with motherhood as Jupiter opposes her Aquarius planets in 2027 Timestamps: [00:02] Welcome Sheleana and how alike your two charts are [00:55] Placidus versus whole sign and reading every degree [04:22] Jupiter enters Leo and lights up her tenth house of career [07:18] Three book launches and the long road of children’s books [12:00] Sun in Aquarius in the fourth house: rewriting family [16:00] Chosen family, community, and conscious parenting [18:00] Saturn and Uranus in Sagittarius: the teacher who bends the rules [22:30] Jupiter on the descendant: partnerships as your greatest teachers [23:53] Relationships as life school and a complex mother relationship [28:00] North Node and Venus in Pisces: creativity, perfectionism, and letting go [32:00] The nodal return and stepping into your creative expression [35:00] Chiron in Gemini: the voice wound that becomes medicine [36:45] Growing up in foster care and finding her voice [40:00] Mars in Sagittarius: why abundance is tied to living your truth [44:00] Holding career and motherhood as Jupiter opposes her Aquarius planets Resources: Follow Sheleana Aiyana on Instagram @sheleanaaiyana Follow Rising Woman on Instagram Visit Sheleana at sheleanaaiyana.com Explore Rising Woman Read Sheleana's book Becoming the One Follow Spirit Daughter on Instagram Visit the Spirit Daughter Website Get my book Spirit Daughter Get your Free Natal Chart Book a Natal Chart Reading Try the Moment App for free Get the Leo Season Workbook See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Marie Forleo built an empire on one idea: everything is figureoutable. Then her Chiron return arrived and the universe handed her a message she never expected. You cannot figure this one out. In this episode, I read Marie’s natal chart and we discover the astrology behind everything she has built, from launching online courses before most people had the internet to teaching millions that marketing your gifts is a duty, not a chore. We unpack the visionary signature of her Sun in Sagittarius sitting next to Neptune, the Moon in Aquarius that made freedom nonnegotiable, and the Saturn in Leo soul contract that turned her voice into her life’s work. Then we go deep into the fixed T square in her chart and the surprising release valve that explains why she loves to dance, lift heavy things, and get her hands in the dirt. And we talk about the years that brought her to her knees. Marie is at the tail end of her Chiron return, and she shares what it actually felt like, why her warrior tools stopped working, and the softer skills of surrender and trust she had to build instead. If you have ever felt like the strategies that got you here have stopped carrying you forward, this conversation will meet you exactly where you are. Ever wonder why you keep attracting the same kind of person? Your chart has an answer. This week we continue the house series with the seventh house, and it is a big one, because it is the first house we reach that sits above the horizon. This is the part of you other people see, and it is the house of partnership, union, marriage, business partners, and every one on one relationship that mirrors you, triggers you, and helps you grow. Directly across from your rising sign sits the descendant, the cusp of the seventh house, and it holds the qualities you are reaching for in this lifetime. It is why opposites attract. We tend to draw in partners who carry the very energies we are here to integrate. In this episode I walk through all twelve signs on the seventh house cusp, so you can find yours and understand exactly what your partners are here to teach you. Pull up your chart, find your descendant, and listen for your sign. Whether you have a partner who challenges you, nurtures you, calms you, or transforms you, this house will help you see the growth waiting inside every relationship you attract. Remember, the stars do not dictate your future, they illuminate it. Topics Covered: Why the seventh house is the first house above the horizon and what that means The descendant and how it holds the qualities you are reaching for Why opposites attract and what your partners mirror back to you Aries through Pisces on the seventh house cusp, sign by sign What each ruling planet reveals about how you give and receive love How to find the growth waiting inside the partners you draw in Learning to become for yourself what you seek in a partner Timestamps: Resources: Listen to The First House Listen to The Second House Listen to The Third House Listen to The Fourth House Listen to The Fifth House Listen to The Sixth House Follow Spirit Daughter on Instagram Get your Free Natal Chart See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
What if the life you are reaching for is already written into your chart? In this special episode, recorded live at Spirit Daughter Live at The Lighthouse in Brooklyn, I read Lindsey Simcik’s chart in front of a room full of our community, with zero prep and nothing off the table. Lindsey is the co-host of Almost 30, a writer, and a mama, and she let me go straight to the deep end. We start with her stellium in Virgo sitting in the eleventh house, the house of community, and the imposter syndrome that can ride alongside building something as big as Almost 30. Then we move into her Gemini moon in the eighth house, where she gets to bring lightness and humor to the deepest parts of life, and her Libra rising with Pluto in the first house, which gives her the power to burn it all down and reinvent herself again and again. We also get into the astrology moving through all of us right now. Uranus in Gemini and what the next seven years mean for communication and AI, and Jupiter entering Leo, my favorite transit of the year, which is lighting up Lindsey’s tenth house of career right as she steps into motherhood again. This one is full of real talk on manifestation without the pressure, why life is long, how to set boundaries with Instagram, and how to say a full body yes when opportunity shows up. The sixth house will never get the spotlight that the fifth or the seventh house gets, and that is exactly why most people sleep on it. Here is the truth though: the sixth house is where your dreams actually get built, piece by piece, day by day, by you showing up. In this week’s minisode we continue the house series with the sixth house, the home of your daily rituals, your routines, your health, your work, and the quiet habits that become the foundation of the bigger life you are meant to live. I walk you through what the sixth house governs, why it matters so much for the vision you are reaching for, and how to read the sign on your sixth house cusp so you can understand the way you are wired to build, serve, and care for yourself. I move sign by sign through the sixth house, from the research loving multitasker to the one who needs beauty in their daily life, to the one who commits to a routine and is still doing it twenty years later, to the sensitive soul who needs a sanctuary to come home to. Wherever your sixth house falls, this episode will help you see your everyday life as sacred and turn your small daily bricks into something powerful. What if the life you are reaching for is already written into your chart, and the only thing in the way is where you are standing? This week I am sitting down with astrologer, tarot reader, and psychic medium Meghan Rose, and it is a rare treat to speak the same astrological language with another reader for a full hour. Meghan carries a Scorpio stellium, and we go straight into why her soul came here for depth, what her North Node in the seventh house keeps asking of her, and how she stopped settling in love and in friendship. She also shares the story of moving along the lines of her own chart, from her Sun line in Mexico City to her Mercury line in Amsterdam to her Venus line, and how landing where her chart comes alive healed her body, her habits, and her sense of what success even means. We talk about Saturn returns and why she waited on marriage, the nodal returns and reverse nodal returns that keep showing up as wake up calls, and what Jupiter moving through the fifth house can bring, including a playful warning you will want to hear. And we open up the idea of soulmates far past romance, into chosen family, friendship, and the people who meet you in your depth and stay. If you have ever felt called to go deeper, to move somewhere new, or to stop shrinking your life to fit a smaller story, this conversation will meet you right where you are. Topics Covered: Why depth is part of Meghan’s soul path and what a Scorpio stellium really asks of you • Her North Node in the seventh house and the lesson of not settling in relationships • Astrocartography: how moving to her Mercury and Venus lines changed her health, habits, and life • Saturn return wisdom and why she waited until after it to marry • Nodal returns and reverse nodal returns as wake up calls • Jupiter in the fifth house, fun, creativity, and a playful baby warning • Soulmates beyond romance: chosen family, friendship, and bonds that go the long haul • Reading children’s charts and seeing souls fit together like puzzle pieces Timestamps: 00:02 Welcome and why this conversation goes deep 01:34 Meghan’s Scorpio stellium and the soul’s pull toward depth 03:49 Her North Node in the seventh house and what it asks of her 15:31 Astrocartography and moving to the lines of her own chart 28:02 Saturn return wisdom and waiting on marriage 31:37 Nodal returns and reverse nodal returns as wake up calls 39:57 Jupiter in the fifth house, fun, and a playful baby warning 42:00 Chosen family and soulmates beyond romance Resources: Visit Meghan Rose at themeghanrose.com Find Meghan on Instagram and TikTok Read and listen to Star-Crossed with Meghan Rose Follow Spirit Daughter on Instagram Visit the Spirit Daughter Website Get my book Spirit Daughter Get your Free Natal Chart Book a Natal Chart Reading Try the Moment App for free Get the Cancer Season Workbook See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
What if there were one part of your chart whose only job was to remind you that life is meant to be enjoyed? That is the fifth house, and it is one of my favorite houses in all of astrology. This is the part of your chart that holds pure joy, creativity, and creative expression. It is the house of romance and those first butterflies, of children and everything else you give birth to in this life, and of the willingness to bet on yourself and take a real chance. The fifth house is ruled by the Sun and by Leo, which is why it asks you to shine and to be fully you. In this episode I walk through what it means to have each sign governing your fifth house, so you can find yours and understand how you are wired to create, to love, and to play. If you have been all responsibility and no play lately, this is your reminder that you are the center of your own universe. Go find your fifth house and ask how you can bring more energy of joy, love, and being you into your life. Topics Covered: Why the fifth house is the home of joy, creativity, and creative expression Romance, early butterflies, and falling in love Children, fertility, and the projects you give birth to Risk taking and the willingness to bet on yourself Why the Sun and Leo rule this house What it means to have each sign governing your fifth house How to activate your fifth house when life feels all work and no play Timestamps: Note: the OMNY transcript for this solo episode contains only one time marker for the full recording, so intermediate topic timestamps are not available to pull. What happens when you sit down with the person who helped you create your very first new moon ritual and read her chart out loud? In this episode I am joined by Kaitee Devilling, founder of Moon Body Soul and one of my oldest friends. Long before the workbooks existed, Kaitee and I were roommates sitting on the floor doing new moon circles together. Those circles became the rituals so many of you use today, and one of them helped me manifest my husband. So this conversation is personal. We go deep into the Leo running through Kaitee’s chart and what all of that fire is here to teach. We talk about the South Node in Leo and the North Node in Aquarius, and how your nodes hold the karmic story of what you came here to release and what you came here to grow into. I walk through how to actually read the current transits moving across your own natal chart, including the Jupiter return and Jupiter moving through Leo, which is maximum expansion for all of us right now. If you have ever wanted to understand how the sky above is talking to the chart you were born with, this one is your map. It will spark something in you, and it might just remind you that you are the center of your own universe. Something major is happening. On June 29, 2026, Jupiter enters Leo, and it will stay there for thirteen months until July 2027. This is not a small shift. Jupiter is the planet of luck, abundance, and expansion, and when it moves into Leo, the energy of the entire collective shifts with it. We are closing the Jupiter in Cancer chapter, which invited us to expand through self-care, nervous system regulation, home, and family. Now we step into something louder, brighter, and bigger than life. In this episode, I walk you through what Jupiter in Leo means for all of us. This is your invitation to your main character energy year. The themes of this transit are creativity, visibility, confidence, and taking bold risks. Leo wants you to step into the spotlight, take up the space you deserve, and shine your brightest no matter what your sun sign is. This transit will activate a specific house in your chart, and wherever Jupiter lands, that is where your greatest expansion over the next thirteen months will happen. I also share a special message for Leo suns, who are getting a major glow up after years of friction from Uranus in Taurus. And if your Jupiter is in Leo natally, welcome to your Jupiter return, one of the most powerful and beneficial transits of your lifetime. Pour yourself something warm, pull up your chart, and get ready to say yes to the expansion that is knocking at your door. Topics Covered What Jupiter is and why this transit matters for everyone Jupiter in Cancer: the chapter we are closing and what we learned Theme 1: Creativity and breaking through your creative limitations Theme 2: Visibility and the courage to be seen Theme 3: Optimism and confidence as the engine of expansion Theme 4: Taking bold risks and leaps of faith How Jupiter in Leo activates different houses in your birth chart Special message for Leo suns: your major glow up is here Jupiter return: what it is and who it applies to Timestamps [00:02] Welcome and intro [01:21] What Jupiter is: the planet of luck, abundance, and expansion [03:13] Jupiter in Cancer: the chapter we are leaving behind [04:08] Welcome to Jupiter in Leo: your main character energy year [05:00] The major themes of Jupiter in Leo [05:30] Theme 1: Creativity and breaking through limitations [05:57] Theme 2: Visibility and stepping into the spotlight [07:15] Theme 3: Optimism and confidence [08:46] Theme 4: Taking bold risks and leaps of faith [09:46] Special message for Leo suns [11:01] Jupiter return: what it means and who it applies to [12:37] Where to learn more and outro Resources Spirit Daughter Website Get the Jupiter in Leo Guide My New Book "Spirit Daughter" Get Your Free Natal Chart Book a Natal Chart Reading Try the Moment App for Free Spirit Daughter on Instagram: @spiritdaughter See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
What happens when you spend decades playing some of the sharpest, most powerful women on television, and you are still apologizing for your own power in real life? That is the tension I found inside Constance Zimmer’s chart. It is a chart that has always known who she is. The question the stars are asking right now is whether she is ready to fully claim it. In this episode, I sit down with Constance and read her birth chart live. She is a Libra sun and Libra rising, meaning she leads with pure Libra energy in everything she does. She also has Pluto and Mars above the horizon, placements that carry real intensity and impact, and a Moon in Pisces in the 5th house that explains so much about the roles she is drawn to and the emotional depth she brings to every character. We get into her nodal return happening right now, a once in 18.5 years reset that is bringing a big move, big change, and a powerful invitation to stop shrinking and step fully into who she has always been. We also talk about people pleasing as Libra’s shadow, how the stars are asking her to own her power without apologizing for it, and the exciting things she is building through her podcast Talk Fifty to Me, her media company The Midlife Collective, and her play in development The Midlife Monologues. Pour yourself something warm. This one is going to make you look at your own chart, and your own life, differently. Have you ever wondered what your rising sign really means? Or why certain people seem to “get you” from the moment you meet? We are wrapping up the Element Series with the one element you cannot see but absolutely cannot live without: Air. In this episode, Jill breaks down everything you need to know about Gemini, Libra, and Aquarius, the three signs ruled by the element of air. Air is the invisible force that connects all of us. It rules our thoughts, our ideas, and how we communicate with the world. And here is something most people get wrong: Aquarius is NOT a water sign. It is an air sign, and in this episode, Jill explains exactly why. You will learn what makes each air sign unique, from Gemini's endless curiosity to Libra's quest for balance and beauty to Aquarius's mission to evolve the collective. Jill also gets into the shadow side of each sign and what happens when air energy goes out of balance. If you have air sign placements in your chart (or love someone who does), this episode is going to change the way you understand that energy. Press play and dive in.
